Why ADHD is often wrongly diagnosed.
Sometimes when children's behaviour is not atypical, people want to give it a label or diagnosis. This can provide clarity around how to help children in the learning process, it can often be incorrect and detrimental.
ADD can sometimes be a grey area and in our world of "perfection", children are very often misdiagnosed, especially little ones. At the same time that we don't want to undermine psychological testing, we believe that so many factors need to be taken into consideration before "labelling" a child.
