This has become an interesting discussion point among colleagues and friends who constantly post articles and do presentations. Lately, I have been writing articles and as instead of hassling my friends who are great at editing, I will ask AI to edit for me.
The essence of the articles is the same however there is some text that is rewritten, in order to create a better flow in the article. I have the choice to use the edited text or to refer back to my own original text and I fluctuate between these choices.
Before AI, I am not sure what most people did in the past, when it came to editing articles or a thesis or presentation. I find that using this form of editing has many positives however the question of who has ownership or penmanship of the article is up for debate.
